Release Details: Union LA x Air Jordan 4 ‘Desert Moss’

Throwing open their doors in 1989 on Spring Street in Soho, Union LA continue to empower the sneaker industry with some stunning renditions of vintage Jumpman silhouettes.

Hitting dizzying heights with the Air Jordan 1 in 2018, owner Chris Gibbs’ then turned his attention to the iconic Air Jordan 4, Union LA already releasing tasty colourways like the ‘Guava Ice’ and ‘Off Noir’ in 2020.

Now, the LA-based boutique are revisiting the Air Jordan 4 for the store’s 30th anniversary, the upcoming ‘Desert Moss’ rendition scheduled to land this month.

Taking aesthetic cues from late-80s and early-90s outdoor gear, the ‘Tent and Trail’ capsule is some of Union’s best work yet. Manufactured with mustard yellow suede, the classic mesh is emboldened by vivid purple, while the eyestays and heel tabs arrive in sky-like blue. Of course, Union LA’s signature translucent wings make yet another appearance on this model.

The Union LA x Air Jordan 4 ‘Desert Moss’ will be dropping at Union and through the Nike SNKRS app on June 20. It will also be available from Jumpman stockists such as GOAT and Flight Club from June 26.
