Release Details: The UNDERCOVER x Nike Dunk High ‘UBA’Release: 28 July 2021
Following the sneak peek back in April, official pics and release details have emerged for the impending UNDERCOVER x Nike Dunk High ‘UBA’. Featuring a bold red and black colour scheme above a neat speckled midsole, the design is built with a pleasing material mixture.
The anagram from the shoe’s nickname sits just above ‘UNDERCOVER BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION’ on the lateral heel of each shoe, while more traditional UNDERCOVER iconography above Jun Takahashi’s name sits on the medial heels. There’s also co-branding on the tongue tags.
The Dunk continues to build its collaborative cachet in 2021, with an earlier offering from UNDERCOVER, a scaly UNDEFEATED silhouette, an upcoming NBA celebration and, of course, the expansive Off-White collection. While the GR heat also keeps rolling in, flexing the Dunk’s enviable ability to capture the attention of sneakerheads across multiple generations. Among some of the better Dunk Highs to emerge so far this year, we’ve seen the vibrant ‘Syracuse’, devilish ‘Dark Sulfur’, mesmerising ‘All-Star 2021’, and calming ‘Crimson Tint’.
Pairs of the UNDERCOVER x Nike Dunk High ‘UBA’ are expected to land on July 28 at Nike and selected Swoosh stockists.
