Release Date: Zion Williamson’s Air Jordan 35 ‘Bayou Boys’

After rumours about a potential Air Jordan 35 ‘Bayou Boys’ started circling in September this year, we now have official pics and a release date for this thematic rendition of the latest chapter in the Jumpman’s storied sneaker history. The scheme starts with a solid base of black, white and ‘Gum’, before carefully adding hits of lime green in all the right places. There’s also iridescent touches, most notably around the AJ35’s signature Eclipse Plate 2.0 in the midsole. 

According to Jordan Brand, the ‘Bayou Boys’ colourway on this AJ35 ‘alludes to the vibrant diversity of New Orleans and includes crackled faux-gator leather’. And it’s that crackled leather that deserves a closer look on the model that has been designed for New Orleans Pelicans sensation Zion Williamson. 

The ‘Bayou Boys’ theme has quickly become synonymous with Zion’s burgeoning sneaker presence, with an Air Jordan 34 dropping earlier this year, and an Air Jordan 1 Zoom Comfort emerging more recently. 

Pairs of this Air Jordan 35 ‘Bayou Boys’ are expected to release on November 21 via Nike and the usual Jordan Brand stockists.
