Release Update: The Nike Dunk Low ‘Georgetown’Release: 30 September 2021
Update: The Nike Dunk Low ‘Georgetown’ is now expected to release on September 30, and is currently named on SNKRS as the ‘Championship Grey’ colourway.
Anticipation has been building for this release since earlier this year, and now we have official pics and a release date for the Nike Dunk Low ‘Georgetown’. The navy and grey scheme takes its name from the similarity with the Georgetown Hoyas colours. And while there’s no confirmation that this is an official linkup, the colourway has been quite popular across multiple brands, most memorably with the Jumpman.
On this rendition, the colour-blocking mostly sticks to the Dunk’s preferred two-tone approach, save for the clean white midsole that splices the look. You’ll also spot a very minor hit of ‘Total Orange’, but that hides away on the insoles.
The Dunk’s current bull run has it nipping at the heels of its 1985 alumni – the previously insurmountable Air Jordan 1. Do you think you know all the differences between the Dunk and the AJ1? Have a read of our definitive breakdown of the two models because, even if you think you know them all, you might find one or two variations that surprise you.
As mentioned in the update above, pairs of the Dunk Low ‘Georgetown’ are now scheduled to touch down on September 30 via Nike and the usual Swoosh stockists such as GOAT.
