Release Date: The Nike Air Max 1 'Strawberry Lemonade'

The Air Max 1 is never too far away from headlines in the sneakersphere, and Nike have kept the flame burnin’ in 2020 with the revamped renditions from 2006’s Air Max ‘Powerwall’ range. Following on from the recent ‘Limeade’ and ‘Lemonade’ colourways, a pretty pink ‘Strawberry Lemonade’ is set to sweeten up the collection.

Aesthetically, this Air Max 1 comes through in the familiar ‘Powerwall’ look, with cartoony ‘Air’ branding decorating much of the upper. For the scheme, there’s ‘Atmosphere’ and white, which work together a treat. However, it’s all about the little details on this Max, starting with strawberry logos on the tongues, and light yellow lacing. The fruitiness continues on the insoles, which feature playful strawberry and lemon graphics, while the aforementioned ‘Air’ logos are elevated with a 3M reflective finish, bringing the late-night shimmer. Down below, it’s familiar vibe, with a classic black and white midsole housing a humble Air unit.

Considering the popularity of the ‘Limeade’ and ‘Lemonade’ renditions, we expect the upcoming ‘Strawberry Lemonade’ colourway to fly off shelves when it drops. Look for this super-sweet Air Max 1 to release on November 12 at select retailers and Nike. The retail price tag is set at $140.
