Release Date: Kith x New Balance 992 and 998
, owner of , has been teasing us with a collaboration. Specifically, two models over the past few weeks have appeared on his Instagram account a and . Both bear a striking resemblane to the NB1300 ‘Steel Blue’ (which apparently, is one Fieg’s favourite NBs) and they were officially debuted as part of Kith’s Spring 2 catalogue.
Both pairs have been given a similar treatment, with light blue mesh and grey overlays, and they are sure to be a must-cop for NB enthusiasts and Kith fans alike. ‘Made in the USA’ has been scripted on the tongue of both pairs, while the 998’s midsole has been given ABZORB technology.
From Fieg’s IG teasing, we’ve also learnt that these two pairs are part of a five-shoe series, with the NB992 and NB998 releasing this weekend, May 23, presumably on Kith’s webstore. These will most likely be a KITHSTRIKE release, and will be hard to cop. Good luck, and stay locked to SF for details on the coming three pairs from the series.
