Reebok Reveal a Shady Premier Road ModernRelease: 1 March 2021
Reebok might be best known for their heritage lineup, but you’d be missing out if you pass over their newer silhouettes – especially the Premier Road Modern. Most notably championed by experimental Korean outfit KANGHYUK, who doubled down for a second colab, the model updates the ‘Bok’s mid 2000s Premier Running project with contemporary aesthetics.
The moulded upper – which is actually one piece – brings textural variation and eye-catching structure, while also nodding to the brand’s Vector logo. Elsewhere, open mesh underlays provide ultimate breathability. Its performance provenance is evident in the sole unit, where a dual density midsole allows for a smooth ride, and a TPU shank stabilises each step.,
Despite its bold design, or maybe because of, the Premier Road Modern can take loud or subtle colourways with equal ease. This latest iteration sees shades of grey flood the shoe from top to toe, with silver added into the mix for a bit of shine.
You’d be silly to sleep on this ‘Bok banger for any longer – look for it to drop at END. on March 1.
