With a push towards sustainable production, it appears as though both major and minor brands are racing towards a sneaker production solution that’s better for the environment. And Reebok might be leading the pack now, with news of a new plant-based sneaker.
Known as the Forever Floatride GROW, it’s a performance running shoe reportedly made from castor beans, algae, eucalyptus trees, and natural rubber. The result is a well-researched sneaker that looks pretty good, and should be quite fast too!
As exciting as this prospect sounds, a retail release isn’t slated until mid-2020.
