After launching the new model at All-Star Weekend in February, Reebok’s Instapump Fury Zone is back with a colourway derived from its ancestral inspiration of the same name (sans the Zone). This red and neon yellow ‘Citron’ colourway first scorched eyes on the running track and streets in the mid 1990s, and now it will do the same on the court.

The Instapump Fury Zone is heavily based on the Instapump Fury from 1994, but combines styling elements from the Pump Omni Zone 2 that debuted a couple of years prior. In a way, it’s a hybrid of sorts, but is very much a modern performance basketball shoe. It proves that its 30-year-old-plus inflatable fit technology still holds its own today, and is activated by pressing the labelled button on the tongue – just like the models that inspired it. There is an additional heel strap that provides further lockdown and customisation of it. Of course, these elements are now emphasised by the red and yellow combination on the upper, plus stark black overlays for a strong look in the spirit of the OG.

Interested parties can cop the Instapump Fury Zone directly from Reebok right now, plus from the Foot Locker store network.
