The Reebok First Pitch Program has ‘Open Membership’ for the Club C
The ongoing has been a success so far, and the next proposed design looks to be an ace! Taking inspiration to very literal levels, this ‘Open Membership’ directly references the classic sneaker’s tennis origins.
Using pre-vintaged leather uppers, contrasting green accents are made from fuzzy polyester to resemble tennis balls. Net graphics are printed underneath (or should it be above?) the translucent green outsoles to make the theme even more obvious. Not before the retro font, tennis court midfoot logo, and terry cloth lining drive the concept home. Tiny shorts and sweatbands not included!
The First Pitch program requires 500 pairs committed to be made, otherwise the concept isn’t brought to life. The ‘Open Membership’ has reached approximately half of its target, but you have until the end of September to decide its fate!
