Reebok Experiment With the Club C 85 Pump

Update May 15, 2023: After dropping in Europe and Asia, the Reebok Club C 85 Pump is dropping stateside on May 17, 2023, via Reebok’s channels and at select retailers for $110.

The sneakersphere has been off to a rolling start in 2023, already graced with a stack of hyped releases and even rumours of hotly anticipated collaborations to come. So far, Nike have brought back the ‘Big Bubble’ Air Max 1s, Ronnie Fieg teamed up with Clarks and adidas, and apparently, there might be a Powerpuff Girls x Nike SB collaboration in the works. Reebok are getting in on the experimentation with their latest release, too, unveiling the Club C 85 Pump. At first glance, it’s apparent that Reebok have brought together one certain silhouette with the famous design feature of another. A pretty monumental shake-up considering they’re bringing together two of the most culturally rich decades in sneakers into one.

To create the Reebok Club C 85 Pump, they’ve married the minimalist aesthetic and construction of the Club C, with the bold iconic Pump taking the silhouette from the 80s and straight to the 90s, allowing a Club C with Pump tongues to exist. File that under things you likely didn’t expect to see today.
