Germany’s are celebrating their 10th anniversary in style, the Fulda natives linking up with for the ‘Joint Path’ release.
‘As huge fans of the four- and five-digit ZX series, we quickly realized that there’s barely a style that provides more material layers to represent a journey in all facets than the ZX 10000,’ said 43einhalb in their announcement post.
Taking aesthetic cues from topographical maps and landscapes, the ZX colour palette adopts industrial hues symptomatic of Frankfurt (a place close to the heart of founders Mischa and Oliver). Sandy shades and greys allude to beaches, rocks and mountains, while bright blue accents pay homage to the sea and rivers. The greens embody forests and fields. It’ll be no surprise to our German brethren where the bright orange signal takes notes from – the Autobahn!
The colab is also personalised with 43 stitched into one heel, while a ‘Joint Path’ signet combining the adidas Trefoil and the fleur-de-lis of Fulda is emblazoned on the tongues.
