Raf Simons' work for adidas has usually resided in experimental territory but he pulls back the madness and delivers some tight work on the Stan Smith here. Adidas Originals have made the immortal tennis sneak the fashion focus of 2014, decking out all of their endorsers in it and releasing a ream of new designs. The colours of the shoe haven't changed up a whole heap though, mainly staying true to the green and white soul of the OG, but Raf is always allowed to let his palette loose. Orange enters the game in a big way here, with the usual green dabs replaced with the bright hue on one shoe, while another is coated completely in the citrus business. There's an OG style green and white as well and all feature one major difference from the usual Stan Smith – the perforated Three Stripes are gone, with the holes rearranged into the shape of an R. An R for Raf, yes, and 'Raf Simons' is stamped up the back of the shoes too so you know who designed these things. These will drop at adidas Originals retailers very soon, so keep an eye out.
