PUMA have announced that they'll be getting their piece of the knit game with the IGNITE evoKNIT. The latest innovation from the big cat has a sock-like upper, made from PUMA’s Proknit material, supported by a unique strap arrangement – wrapping from the laces to the heel. The form fitting construction has been utilised to full effect when it comes to the large collared sleeve, the bold branding around the ankle gives the shoe a strong presence. The chevron grooved midsole, made from IGNITE foam, provides optimal spring and energy with each step. As good as they look, the shoe has all of the features needed to be a serious runner.
The initial drop will see the evoKNIT release in two colour variations; black and blazing red. Both colours will come in two variations, one will have a white midsole while the other will have a tonal midsole matching the colour of its upper. Each has a dappled effect across the upper that can only be attained from a marled woven shoe.
The PUMA IGNITE evoKNIT drops July 1 at select Puma stockists, such as Foot Locker.
