Pro-Keds Royal Collection 2016
have cruised from the b-ball courts of yesterday (way back in the 40s) to the high-streets of today with ease. The simple silhouettes have stood the test of time finding favour with those that dig clean lines and minimal make ups. In 2016, the brand releases a collection of their iconic sneakers in a variety of treatments.
The versatile sneaker drops in a low cut nylon iteration featuring a sublimated raindrop patterned print across its upper. Also included in the collection is another low made up in sleek tumbled nubuck in a trio of tastefully restrained colourways including grey, olive and tan.
Adding a primo vibe, both the Hi and Lo Royal will release in smooth nappa leather. The nappa versions see a tonal leather upper – in off white or black – sit atop a white outsole rocking a classic red and navy PRO-Keds Powerstripe. Rounding out the deal, the instantly recognisable canvas style will step up with three new colourways – forest green, rich burgundy and gold.
