Premier Celebrate 20 Years in Business With Delicate-Yet-Durable Vans 'Laced' PackRelease: 4 December 2021
Grand Rapids-based skate shop Premier have been serving the Michigan skate community since 2001, and to celebrate 20 years in business they've linked up with Vans for a delicate-yet-durable 'Laced' pack.
Consisting of special takes on the Old Skool and the late, great Jeff Grosso's Skate Grosso Mid (a silhouette that's similar to the standard Sk8-Mid), the 'Laced' pack gets its name from the dainty toile detailing that covers its quarter panels. This embellishment is done up in tonal black fashion on the Old Skool while it shines in bright red on the Skate Grosso Mid, but on each pair it quickly tears away to reveal a durable, skate-ready leather base with a de-bossed checkerboard pattern.
Besides this signature embellishment, both shoes feature special Premier branding on the midsoles and inner tongues. They're also equipped with Vans skate tech like PopCush insoles, Duracap rubber compound midsoles and classic gum waffle outsoles. Each is also packaged in a special co-branded box with printed tissue paper, and accompanied by a pair of socks.
Expect the Premier x Vans 'Laced' pack to drop on the Premier web store come December 4, accompanied by a small collection of Premier's private label apparel.
