Pop Trading Company and Camper Link-Up Once Again
Spanish footwear brand have linked with Amsterdam’s for a new collection inspired by skate culture. The second collaborative endeavour by the duo, the pack returns to Camper’s historic Before & After concept, with the purpose of making shoes designed for both before and after sport. And that’s exactly what they’ve done here, creating two monochromatic unisex sneakers for use during a skate-session, while the accompanying trio of post-skate boots adopt a more formal look.
Starting with the sneakers, Pop Trading Co have taken Camper’s original Runner XL and crafted a more contemporary version. Decked out in a very techy upper, and featuring the same shape as its predecessor, the design uses soft puffed leather and reflective bindings that sit atop an XL EXTRALIGHT sole unit. There are two colourways available: a simple white with silver hits, and a sleek triple-black with white splashes.
The second crep design in the collection is for those who love to dress up post-skate. Dubbed the Hardwood, it’s a modern take on the classic Chelsea Boot. Dropping in three different colourways, it’s a winter staple that features unique elements to bring it into the 21st century. It includes a triple rubber welt for extra durability, and a Vibram outsole that can be fastened with the elastic lace system at the rear.
Look for all pairs to drop at Camper and Pop Trading Company on October 1.
