Politics Introduce Cafe Du Monde to the Saucony Shadow 5000
Taking cues from famed NOLA institution , New Orleans–based are putting a Big Easy–inspired spin on beloved .
The resulting colab is an apt nod to Du Monde's famed beignets and café au lait, combining shades of brown across a leather, suede and mesh upper to go along with bright green accents. Those hits of green are a direct tribute to the awning that covers Du Monde's patio, and Politics even hit the kicks with a powdered sugar–like dusting of white flecks.
Complete with special packaging and striped insoles, the collaborative endeavour is due out in-store and on June 22 for $120.
