Update November 27, 2023: Pharrell's latest adidas x NMD S1 MAHBS colourways are set to touch down today. The ‘Pink Sea Salt’, ‘Mint’ and ‘Cacao’ have all been loaded to adidas' site in preparation. As it stands, there is no sign of the tonal ‘Oatmeal’ colourway. Update November 23, 2023: While both ‘Pink Sea Salt’ and ‘Mint’ versions were revealed earlier this week, it’s now become clear that the Pharrell Williams Humanrace x adidas NMD S1 MAHBS will also be dropping in additional ‘Cacao’ and ‘Oatmeal’ colourways, which offer two tonal takes on the pair as well as the pastel versions. The latest additions to the roster come in the form of two adidas NMD S1 MAHBS colourways, so here’s what to expect from both pairs.
The duo first debuted the silhouette earlier in the year, but for all intents and purposes, it’s essentially an NMD S1 with a two-tone colour scheme and canvas uppers. Not that it makes it any less interesting, instead it still allows the NMD’s DNA to shine through. The of the NMD S1 MAHBS took on a royal blue and natural colour scheme, but these two upcoming versions opt for pops of pastel colours, resulting in ‘Oatmeal Pink’ and ‘Mint’ iterations.
These titular hues call attention to each pair's key design features, including the Humanrace branding that runs down the forefoot, as well as a colour-blocked segment that stretches from the heel to the outsole. Underfoot, their two-toned sole units come packed with bouncy Boost cushioning, and the outsoles feature the adidas Trefoil as the tread pattern, which adds durability and grip.
