Peep Alexander Wang's New adidas Originals Design

A fresh whack of adi- is on its way. Following the success of last year’s collaborative drops, the designer has unveiled his Season 3 Originals collection.

For us footwear fiends, Alexander Wang has a spanking-new model: the AW Bball Soccer. The shoe’s fat slab of and attention-stealing sole unit are familiar, while the upper takes on old-school adidas vibes with classic Three Stripe branding. Up front, the toe box borrows its stitched detailing from adidas’ classic football boots such as the World Cup SG.

Complementing a full range of apparel, the AW Bball Soccer will drop in burnt orange, and black. Oh and those quirks you’ll notice – the upside-down tongue tag and factory-printed – yeah, that’s Wang celebrating factory imperfections (although they feel a lot less unique when they come standard).

No word on price, but we’ve got a date: keep your eyes on April 21.
