Paul George is an avid gamer. Known for travelling with his PlayStation on the road, the L.A. Clippers sharp-shooter already has a long list of video game-inspired silhouettes, with the Nike PG 2 and PG 2.5 silhouettes powered-up in various PlayStation colourways in the past.

Now, Paul George’s latest silhouette is getting plugged in to celebrate the recent PS5 release, and the PG 5 ‘Playstation 5’ is scheduled to arrive in two colourways over the coming months.

Taking aesthetic cues from the PlayStation 5 console itself, the blue and white renditions are emblazoned with the controller’s signature buttons.

Co-branding appears on the tongue and the heel while, down below, classic white midsole and blue translucent outsoles complete the design.

Driven by Nike’s ethos that comfort is the first step in controlling pace on the hardwood, the Nike PG 5 first debuted in December 2020. Notably, the full-length Nike Air Dot Weld Strobel cushioning returns from the PG 4.

Both versions of the Nike PG 5 ‘PlayStation 5’ are expected to arrive sometime in May.
