Patta and Nike Unveil Air Max 95 x 90 Hybrid
Their may have just surfaced last month, but the upcoming x colab features a different silhouette altogether: an x mashup. Set to be joined by a range of corresponding apparel, the kicks pay homage to the avant garde artists of old by mixing technical and classical elements. As the Swoosh puts it, 'It's running sportswear, but not. Technical, but casual. Most important, it's an exercise in expressing and blending the performative elements of sport with those of style.'
'Both silhouettes are among our favourites,' adds Patta's Vincent Van de Waal of the 95 x 90 design. 'The Air Max 90 is a robust classic, and the 95 has always felt like a futuristic design; combining both forms a mix between classic and more technical design.'
Best of all? The hybrid design will be available for further customisation as potential wearers are invited to put their own personal spin on the shoe.
