Union's Chris Gibbs Unveils Patta x Nike Air Max 1 'Black'
Early last week, leaked images of another x began circulating social media. The imagery hinted at a pair of AM1s which boasted an all black wavy mudguard – the detail which has undeniably been the collaboration's defining feature.
However that was all swiftly put to bed, as Chris Gibbs has taken to social media to confirm the actual fourth Patta x AM1. With the photography shared via the Union LA Instagram account, Gibbs stated that the latest pair are 'fire'.
He said: 'Truly honored to know the whole Patta team for many moons now…These guys are like brothers from other mothers from across the pond. Thanks for letting me intro the Black color way! These are fire! For those who haven’t peeped the short films, please go view the beautiful imagery and narrative that these guys have put together. One Love! - Chris'
This news follows the recently made announcement of the third release from the Amsterdam-based retailer, the which drops by the end of the month. The collection's predecessors – the and silhouettes – have blown up the sneakersphere and this next pairing are sure to do the same.
You can expect the 'Black' colourway to release by the end of the year in December.
