Patta Go Earthy on the New Balance 991

Amsterdam-based sneaker stalwarts Patta have crossed the North Atlantic Ocean and landed in Boston at the New Balance headquarters to create an epic earthy-toned NB991 – and we’ve just got our first look. Last year the duo joined forces on the 920, tricking it out with their classic collaborative touch that has been part of many of the world’s finest sneaker link-ups. They also linked with Reebok to create an exclusive Club C that is intended to always be stocked at every Patta brick-and-mortar location around Europe.

Taking a look at their latest, they’ve taken the 991 – a classic in the New Balance arsenal – and blessed it with a sweet tonal look in a mix of ‘Cork’, ‘Light Petrol’, and ‘Peach’ with subtle grey accents. Mesh has been laid down as the base, with only the most premium pigskin used on the overlays. Down below, we’ve got an ABZORB cushioned midsole with a rubber outsole. Completing the look is the Patta branding along the lateral heel.

Patta are yet to officially reveal their latest New Balance 991 collaboration, but sneaker store Naked have a release date listed for January 29. We’ll keep you updated if anything else comes through regarding this release.
