Update September 28, 2022: Finally, Australian New Balance fanatics will have their chance at the Paperboy x BEAMS x New Balance colab! Both the NB1500 and NB920 will drop on October 4.

French eatery turned cultural pin dropper Paperboy Paris has paired up with Japanese retailer for another sneaker collaboration, this time with on the 920 and . Previous PPP x NB colabs have been hot affairs, and with BEAMS on board, it’s sure to be an easy cop with likely difficult chances to do so.
Three-way collaborations are a delicate balancing act of each brand’s distinct cues, but this collection perfectly expresses the trio’s individual styles in equal amounts. The light blue pastel hits on the 1500s are in line with PPP’s penchant for soft tones, evident in their previous work with NB. While BEAMS’ unique mismatched panelling comes as no surprise across both models. Finally, NB’s classic grey shades atop suede and mesh uppers is only to be expected.
The Paperboy Paris x BEAMS x New Balance 920 and 1500 will release at PPP’s physical outpost on June 21 at 10AM Paris time. It’s possible there will also be a limited allocation on their web store, which is currently down for maintenance – the heat must be high on this release. Given the other two parties’ involvement, there may be a small drop via their stores later on.
