It has been nearly four decades since Walt 'Clyde' Frazier played his last game in the NBA, but the seven-time All-Star continues to leave a lasting impact off the court. Known for his flamboyant style, the former Knicks floor general has amassed a seemingly endless supply of extravagant custom-made suits. While his wardrobe sports more animal print than most zoos, it's the cow print look that has become his most iconic. In recognition, the crew at Packer have created a tribute pack to Frazier's black and red cow print suits utilising his signature PUMA silhouette. Both feature supple suede uppers, creamy soles, gold Clyde branding and most importantly, faux cowhide Formstripes that mimic Frazier's outlandish attire.
To add a new chapter to Frazier's legacy, PUMA and the Packer crew called upon his longtime tailor, Mohan's in NYC, to create a blue cow print suit as well as a special friends and family Clyde to match. The limited edition make-up features an all faux cowhide upper in rich cerulean blue with matching tonal laces and sole, as well as an orange sock liner in tribute of Frazier's time with the New York Knicks. Just 73 pairs have been made in honour of the Knicks' 1973 championship season.
The Packer x PUMA Clyde Cow Pack will be available in all three colourways on March 31 exclusively through Packer, both in-store and online. The red and black colourways will release on April 7 through select PUMA stockists globally.
