Packer's adidas ZX 9000 Honours New Jersey's State FlowerRelease: 8 October 2019
Before Norse Projects' gorgeous TRDC arrives on October 26, adidas have cooked up another 30th anniversary Consortium nod to the Three Stripes' Torsion tech – this time with New Jersey's Packer Shoes.
Dubbed the 'Meadow Violet,' the earthy colab is a nod to New Jersey's state flower. Instead of rocking an over-the-top violet execution, however, Packer's design takes things in an unexpected direction and instead employs the violet accents tastefully and sparingly across a predominately tan, grey, and green look. According to the folks at Packer, the subtle pops of colour 'tell the story of the meadow violet’s perseverance even in the harshest of conditions.'
Further nods to the flower appear in the form of a custom Trefoil logo on the tongue of the left shoe, as well as graphic insoles.
The 'Meadow Violet' ZX 9000 drops in store and online on Tuesday, October 8 at 12PM EDT.
