Admittedly, last year’s 30th anniversary of the went a little under the radar. However, we’re glad to see are still dropping, including this ‘Emerging Market’ rendition, which could pass as a collaborative colourway with some co-branding hits.
The sneaker’s moniker is likely a nod to the GEL-Lyte III’s emergence in Europe throughout the mid-2000s. It opts for a colour scheme of red, white and blue on the upper. A bold red hue hits the profile vector logos, plastic eyelets, and inner lining, while the overlays around the forefoot and heel are dressed in dark blue suede. The rest of the sneaker is delivered in white and off-white, while the sole unit keeps things simple with a white midsole and black outsole combo. Inside, you’ll find the uber-comfortable GEL cushioning, ensuring a cloud-like ride all day long.
