Korea’s OPEN YY Set to Drop PUMA H-Street Collaboration

debuted the mid-May during a in Seoul’s Seoungsu neighbourhood, with high-profile attendees like BLACKPINK's Rosé and Itzy’s Yeji. Resurrected from the archive this year, the H-Street originally landed in 2003 and was adapted from the Haramabee spike which dominated track and field in the late 90s. The revival is slated to land towards the end of June – but ahead of the official global launch, Korean brand OPEN YY have debuted a crisp colab using the Y2K running model.
OPEN YY was founded in 2020 by sisters Jiyoung and Boyoung Kim, and this will be their second collaboration with PUMA in the five years they’ve been in operation. The first venture looked to the Speedcat silhouette, which was reinterpreted with new materials and a soccer-inspired tongue flap. For the brand’s H-Street collaboration, OPEN YY have opted for a similar approach, dressing the uppers of the H-Street in mesh with subtle hints of suede and leather alongside the added tongue flap.
Three colourways of the OPEN YY x PUMA H-Street – a creamy oatmeal, snowy white, and bright kingfisher blue – will land this June, so keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker to stay updated.
