The star-studded Brooklyn Nets missed out on the NBA Finals by the length of Kevin Durant’s toe, but the NYC crosstown rivals will no doubt start as favourites in the 2021-22 NBA season, as long as their indomitable trio stays healthy this off-season.
Now, the world of basketball and Dunks will collide yet again (it’s easy to forget – the Dunk was actually a hoop sneaker in the 1980s!) the Brooklyn Nets linking-up with the Swoosh for an official Dunk collaboration.
Celebrating the 75th anniversary of the NBA, the Nike Dunk Low ‘Brooklyn Nets’ is rendered in a Nets-like colourway of navy, white and red. A Brooklyn Nets logo emblazons the lateral heels, while official 75th anniversary NBA branding is stamped on the tongues. Stitched detailing appears on the clean white midsoles, while special dubraes honour the league’s Diamond Anniversary.
Look for the NBA x Nike Dunk Low ‘Brooklyn Nets’ to release in the coming months. The retail price is locked at $110.
In the meantime, why not check-out the best and worst Dunks of 2021 (so far).
