Revealed via stylelikekay on IG, this simple yet satisfying take is dressed predominantly with ‘University Blue’ on the uppers – most notably on the heel, ankle collar, mudguard, and eye stays. The mid panel is done in white, delivering a clean look, while the Swoosh, laces and lining are black for contrast. Overall, it’s a familiar look from the Jumpman, and promises to be a worthy addition to the ever-growing AJ1 canon.
Fans of the AJ1 will recall the popular colourway from 2019, which bears similarities to this latest ‘University Blue’ rendition. After a lukewarm debut, that aforementioned take has evolved to become quite sought-after on the secondary market. We expect those who missed out on the 2019 colourway to be chasing these come 2021.
