On-Foot: KAWS x sacai x Nike Blazer Low

Chitose Abe’s sacai label continues to fuel the hype train in 2021, the Japanese entity already revealing multiple iterations of the coveted Nike Blazer Low and VaporWaffle this year. And sacai are also turning the volume up on their highly-anticipated three-way collaborations, linking up with Jean Paul Gaultier and pop-culture behemoth KAWS.

We’ve now got an on-foot look at the KAWS x sacai x Nike Blazer Low, the two colourful colourways scheduled to drop later this month. A central piece of the  KAWS x sacai FW21 ‘Wearable Art’ collection, the collaboration is again emblazoned with Abe’s signature stacked motif.

KAWS’ signature ‘XX’ iconography strikes the forefoot, while sacai x Nike co-branding appears on the two tongues. Double the Swoosh and laces create havoc on the visual palette, while white layered sole units are pasted at the base.

Look for the KAWS x Sacai x Nike Blazer Low to release in July 2021.
