On-Foot: The FTC x Nike SB Dunk Low
The team at continue to blow-up the sneaker industry in 2021 with explosive in-line colourways and high-profile collaborations.
Once again lighting things up for the annual 4/20 celebrations with the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Hawaii’, it now looks like the team at Nike SB are also linking up with Dutch artist and the label for more madness.
Now, the San Francisco–based skate shop FTC Skateboarding is partnering up with the all-conquering Nike SB team, the Dunk Low dressed in a summer-ready aesthetic accented by ‘Speed Yellow’ and ‘Lagoon Blue’ hues.
Manufactured with blue suede uppers, the SB Dunk is rendered in white leather overlays that are given textural depth by debossed, grid-like patterns. A metallic Swoosh is emblazoned on the side panel, the Swoosh extending out to meet the sunny borders on the sockliners and tongues. FTC branding appears on the heels and co-branded tongues while, down below, an icy blue outsole completes the collaboration.
No stranger to the Dunk hype, FTC last year served as one of the exclusive launch locations for The Grateful Dead x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Orange’ release.
