Does it get any better than the Air Jordan 1? Recently given an extra bit of fuel (not that the AJ1 needs it) from Michael Jordan’s The Last Dance documentary, both game-worn and coveted colourways have received a bump on the volatile resale market of late, a pair of Michael Jordan’s game-worn Air Jordan 1s recently selling for a huge $560,000.

Even the high-fashion ateliers have boarded the lofty silhouette of late, Kim Jones’ Dior of course releasing the insanely luxurious rendition of the Air Jordan 1 last year.

Now, the Air Jordan 1 is set to return in its signature black and red colour palette, the Air Jordan 1 High OG ‘Bred Patent’ looking as stunning as the silhouette did back in the 1980s. On-foot shots are the latest images to arrive, the Chicago Bulls–inspired black, white, and ‘Varsity Red’ arguably the most recognisable colour scheme on earth.

The all-important ‘Nike Air’ branding emblazons the tongues, while the ‘Wings’ logo takes flight on the heels. Down below in the engine room, a white midsole and red rubber outsole rounds-out the colourway.

Look for the Air Jordan 1 High OG ‘Bred Patent’ to release on October 23. The retail price is set at $170.
