The Nike Dunk Low ‘Michigan’ Release Has Been DelayedRelease: 3 June 2021
Over the years, we've seen the Nike Dunk wear the famed ‘Michigan’ colours in various forms, including the OG Dunk High and Virgil Abloh’s Off-White x Nike Dunk Low. Somewhat surprisingly, we were yet to see it in the popular Dunk Low form, but that’s all about to change. Following various leaked looks at the colourway, an official pictorial of the ‘Be True to Your School’ remix has come through from Beaverton.
The colourway is more or less the same as the familiar OG Dunk High, however, the collar has been shortened. Up top, there’s a ‘Varsity Maize’ smooth leather upper with a signature perforated toe box. For contrast, there’s ‘Midnight Navy’ overlays and Swoosh logos, while the darker hue continues on the inner lining, and laces. Completing the classic colourway is yellow on the tongue tags and heels, while a navy rubber outsole and white midsole arrive down below. Simple stuff, really!
The Nike Dunk Low ‘Michigan’ was originally slated for a release on April 16 however, according to sneaker sleuth brandon1an, it has been pushed back until May 13. The retail price tag is set at $100. We’ll keep you updated when Team Swoosh officially confirm the new drop date!
