Official Look: The Nike Air Max Pre-Day in ‘Summit White’

Following its unveiling just over a week ago, and just ahead of its launch on Air Max Day, official images have emerged of the  Nike Air Max Pre-Day in a clean ‘Summit White’ colourway. Referencing runners from the late-70s and early-80s, the most notable feature of this all-new silhouette is the semi-exposed Air unit. Beyond an obvious aesthetic fusion of old and new, the Air Max Pre-Day boasts a genuine commitment to sustainability, made with at least 20 per cent recycled content by weight.

As for that prominent Air unit in the heel, it’s the same one used in current Air Max 1s, Air Max 90s, Air Jordan 3s, 4s, 5s and 6s. And aside from the obvious difference of being exposed between the midsole and the outsole, it delivers a new underfoot sensation to provide more bounce with each stride. 

The release date for this ‘Summit White’ colourway of the Air Max Pre-Day is hush hush for the moment, but pairs are expected to become available at Nike and selected Swoosh stockists soon.
