Official Images: The Nike Cosmic Unity ‘Natural’
First seen on the hardwood via the feet of L.A. Lakers big man Anthony Davis, performance-driven silhouette continues to impress in a variety of colourways.
Originally hitting shelves in the ‘Green Glow’ scheme, the Nike Cosmic Unity is now arriving in a more subdued ‘Natural’ colourway. Composed in ‘Natural’, ‘Total Orange’, and ‘Green Glow’, the Cosmic Unity falls under the banner of Nike’s all-new ‘Move to Zero’ initiative. Manufactured with 25 per cent recycled material by weight, and equipped with a partially recycled Air Zoom Strobel, the Cosmic Unity is another step towards Nike’s zero-waste future.
With its roots in 2008’s Nike Zoom BB II Low ‘Trash Talk’, Nike’s Cosmic Unity team agreed to minimise their environmental impact even during the initial brainstorming, agreeing to forego the use of sketch pads (in favour of digital counterparts), and requesting a limited number of sample runs from the factory.
Keen to step into the future? The Nike Cosmic Unity ‘Natural’ is expected to arrive over the coming weeks at Nike. The retail price is $150.
