Official Images: The Nike Cosmic Unity ‘Amalgam’
Following the of new , we now have a full range of official images for one of the debut colourways. The ‘Amalgam’ rendition is the most colourful of the first three schemes, dressing in a vibrant combo of greens, blues, aqua and orange, and will release early next month.
Nike’s first performance shoe to sit under the brand’s initiative, the Cosmic Unity is made with at least 25 percent recycled content by weight, and also contains a full-length Zoom Air Strobel unit. It’s a basketball shoe for ballers that believe in making a difference both on and off the court.
According to Ross Klein, Nike’s Senior Creative Director for Performance Footwear, the team behind the creation of the Cosmic Unity ‘wanted to create a synergy between making the world better by what we do, but also leave an impact for athletes so that they can perform at a higher level.’
Pairs of the Nike Cosmic Unity ‘Amalgam’ will hit Nike and selected Swoosh stockists on March 7, slightly after the ‘Green Glow’ colourway on February 26, and just before the ‘Space Hippie’ rendition on March 12.
