Official Images: The Air Jordan 13 ‘Obsidian’
Official images and a release date have emerged for the upcoming ‘Obsidian’, as anticipation builds for next month. Rocking a super clean palette of white, ‘Obsidian’, and ‘Dark Powder Blue’, this AJ13 was first unveiled when revealed their back in June.
The Air Jordan 13 has long been a popular member of the Jordan Brand stable, and has enjoyed a slight cultural resurgence over the last 12 months or so, presumably sparked by the runaway success of docuseries. The feline-inspired silhouette was on feet throughout the 1997/98 NBA season, proving that the number 13 isn’t as unlucky as some would have you believe. modelled the AJ13 on a black panther, finessing a unique outsole pattern that is based on the shape of a paw, and dressing the ankle with a holographic jewel, mimicking a cat’s eye.
