Originally released in 1991, the Nike Air Max BW celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, the cult-favourite Big Window looking as bad as ever.

Another Tinker Hatfield home-run, the Air Max BW has already dropped in its iconic ‘Persian Violet’ colourway in 2021, the classic colour palette joining a splash of other renditions including the recent ‘Marina’.

The Swoosh are continuing their 30th anniversary celebration with city-inspired renditions of the Nike Air Max BW, the ‘Rotterdam’ colourway paying homage to the second-largest city in the Netherlands. Manufactured with denim, leather and mesh, the ‘Rotterdam’ colourway is blasted with green accents throughout.

‘220 BPM’ is emblazoned on the left tongue (a reference to the BW’s inextricable link to the music scene), while green translucent outsoles broadcast a late-night vibe.

Look for the Nike Air Max BW ‘Rotterdam’ to land over the coming weeks. The retail price is locked at $140.
