Official Images: The Nike Air Max 96 II ‘Mystic Teal’
Returning for the first time in an original 1-1 remake, the II is still one of the more underrated silhouettes from Nike’s vast Air Max catalogue.
Originally trumped by its more high-profile siblings (the and ), the Air Max 96 II is a classic in its own right, recently returning in its original ‘Golden Rod’ palette. Now, the vintage runner will return in the inimitable ‘Mystic Teal’ scheme, the colourway celebrating 25 years of the Air Max 96 II. Last retroed in 2016, the model will again return with a mesh base overlaid with white and black synthetic leather overlays. 3M reflective detailing again returns to the classic model, while vintage branding on the tongue and heel emphasise the classic 1990s Nike runner feel.
Look for the Nike Air Max 96 II ‘Mystic Teal’ to land over the coming weeks. The retail price is locked at $160.
