Official Images: Kyrie Irving 8 N7
Brooklyn Nets superstar continues to stay firmly in the media’s spotlight during the leadup to the 2021/22 NBA season, the enigmatic guard recently by team manager Sean Marks for failing to comply with NYC’s COVID-19 protocols.
Kyrie’s recent comments on the also caused a furore in July, his eighth signature shoe referred to as on social media channels (Kyrie claimed to have no hand in the design or marketing direction of the Kyrie 8).
Still, it looks like Nike will continue to support the embattled baller, the first official images of the Kyrie 8 finally surfacing online.
It looks like the annual N7 colourway will be one of the first off the ranks, the monochromatic tan uppers ostensibly dressed in a combination of leather and mesh. Paying homage to the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and Kyrie’s Lakota name Hela, the Kyrie 7 is emblazoned with the N7 logo on the heels and insoles.
While we don’t have any official release details on the Kyrie 8 N7, in-line colourways of the Kyrie 8 will reportedly arrive on October 28. These dates could change however, as the Kyrie situation remains in flux.
