Itadakimasu! NOBU Plate Up Sushi Club x Nike Air Force 1 Low

Nobu Matsuhisa – founder of the LA eatery that became NYC restaurant NOBU that became, at time of press, an empire of 56 restaurants and 36 hotels (and counts Robert De Niro as its fairy godmother) – is now officially in the kitchen with Nike.
Chef Matsuhisa already began the process of leveraging the popularity of his signature Japanese-Peruvian cuisine into other avenues a few years ago. The 76-year-old decided to giddy-up NOBU's cult following into an apparel line in 2021, working alongside designer Chris Stamp to create the brand dubbed Sushi Club. And in fact, the Sushi Club AF-1 has been creeping around for a little while, too; F&F versions were previously seen on the paws of the Beverly Hills and New York inner circle. However, this is the first time the insanely coveted model will be given a wider drop.
The Sushi Club x Air Force 1 Low features full-grain leather with light grey suede Swooshes, premium tumbled leather overlays, and a whole sushi-train of subtle but distinctive branding: 'Sushi Club' in a debossed metallic print on the lateral, 3D-printed metallic 'Sushi Club' branding on the insole, a dubrae fashioned as crossed chopsticks, and 'Step By Step' and 'Just Do it' each embroidered under-tongue.
And most exclusive of all is this promise, straight from the tuna's mouth: each pair is numbered on the interior via a metallic woven label.
The Sushi Club x Nike Air Force 1 Low is slated for a public release before the end of the year, though retail pricing has not yet been announced. To sign up your interest, head to the or keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker!
