Nike's Air Huarache Drift Mixes Old and New
The family recently brought the Huarache Drift into the world, and it was only a matter of time before it was doused with the classic runner's most famous colourway, Purple Punch.
The update features a perforated leather toebox and black neoprene collar, while the heel strap sports the grape hue that we know and love. The customisable lacing system also gets the Purple Punch treatment, with the midfoot strap and lace loops both popping in purple. The Drift is more than a subtle nod to its 90s parentage — ‘1991’ is written down the heel tabs in homage to the release of the OG Huarache.
