UPDATE: Word to the wise! Originally a London-only release, we're hearing whispers that these will be releasing at NikeLab locations worldwide real soon. No firm release date has been set, but enjoy this fresh set of images in the meantime.

The latest Zoom Elite 8 is another great running shoe that continues Nike's legacy of innovation in the sport, but just like the , , and other core running silhouettes, would completely fly under the radar for the majority of Swoosh loyalists who are more focused on wearing the shoes 'for the 'Gram' rather than actual psychical activities. So how do you hype up an generic new performance runner from your stables? Well, if you're Nike, all you gotta do is release an uber limited Tier Zero collection and the Hypebeast masses will follow, it's as simple as that! Hey, it got us talking about the shoe! The neutral two-tone does work beautifully on the beige colourway, especially the angled colour blocking across the rear of the upper and midsole, but will this NikeLab release drive more sales for the GR models like Nike is hoping for? Probably not, but it's a sign of the ath-leisure times if you can just colour-block a performance sneaker and you can try and sell it through your lifestyle channels. Either way, if you want to add a bit of #rare to your daily run, head to NikeLab accounts later this month for the pick up.
