Nike Honours WWC Host with Women's AU Collection

Nike are putting the host nation of the Women’s World Cup centre stage with a collection intended to be worn off-pitch in support of the Matildas. The Women’s AU collection is inspired by the rugged Australian terrain to champion an active lifestyle in nature while also celebrating the next era of Nike Women. The range includes apparel like sweatshirts, track pants, and sherpa jackets, but also features special editions of the Nike Air Max 270, Dunk Low, and Air Max 90.

The Air Max 270 SE ‘Australia’ has a neutral palette, with ‘Sail’ featuring on most of the upper. Light amber accents the design on the toe panel, heel and insole, and a pastel purple has its moment on the eyelets, tongue branding, heel tag, and a small Swoosh on the lateral toe. The nod to the collections comes on the insole as well as a bronzed 'AU' plate on the heel.

The Dunk Low takes on a similar palette, with amber and dusty orange overlays reminiscent of Australia’s deserts. The eucalyptus green makes an appearance on the insole and the Nike branding on the tongue and heel. Gold features on the branded dubrae, as well as a small Nike logo on the lateral heel that has a design reminiscent of the sun. On this model, the 'AU' features on the tongue tag as well as the insole.

Lastly, the Air Max 90 SE ‘Australia’ is inspired by colours found on Queensland’s Gold Coast. The base of the upper is white with grey stitched overlays. Eucalyptus green hits the Swoosh and plastic accents on the eyelets and heel, and this model has the same gold features as the Dunk Low., along with the same 'AU' hits on the tongue tag and insole.
