Nike Unveil the GO FlyEase, the Brand's First Hands-Free Sneaker
continue to make wearing sneakers easier than ever, expanding their with a brand new model dubbed the GO FlyEase.
The brand’s first-ever hands-free sneaker, the adopts an ‘easy on, easy off’ approach, using a smooth motion from a bi-stable hinge to enable the shoe to be secure in fully open and fully closed states. Supporting the hinge is the Nike GO FlyEase tensioner. The tensioner’s unique flexibility super-charges an action many might take for granted: kicking-off a shoe. This means sliding out of the sneaker is as easy as sliding in.
With its head-turning aesthetic, and innovative tech, the GO FlyEase is designed to cater to serious athletes, as well as those seeking a one-of-a-kind lifestyle sneaker.
‘Usually I spend so much time to get in my shoes,’ says champion fencer Bebe Vio. ‘With the Nike GO FlyEase, I just need to put my feet in and jump on it. The shoes are a new kind of technology, not only for adaptive athletes but for everyone’s real life.’
Dropping in three debut colourways, the Nike GO FlyEase will be available initially via invite for select Nike Members on February 15. A broader global rollout is currently planned for later in 2021. We’ll be sure to bring you more news as it comes to light.
