The Nike Tuned ‘Icon Flip’ is Screaming Green at Foot Locker

Colourway crossovers provide some of the most exciting drops in the sneaker galaxy. In recent years, sneakerheads have been treated to instant classics like the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Chicago’ and the scorching Air Jordan 4 ‘Infrared’. Nike are leaning into their long legacy of remixes with their latest ‘Icon Flip’ pack, with several classic compositions ‘flipped’ on the legendary Air Max series.

There’s plenty here to satisfy hybrid enthusiasts, including a supersonic Air Max 90 ‘Silver Bullet’ and Air Max 97 ‘Neon’. Undoubtedly one of the most impressive of the bunch is the latest Nike Tuned ‘Scream Green’, a romping homage to the cult classic Nike Air Huarache of the same name. One of the Air Huarache’s OG colour schemes (and still considered the very best among Hua evangelists), the ‘Scream Green’ model made a blistering return to form in 2021, becoming the most accurate reproduction of the 1991 classic to date.

Splashed with a picturesque gradient blue fade across the uppers, the Nike Tuned has been blasted with nuclear neon green across the Swooshes, lace locks, and other celebrated design hallmarks, like the seven bubble Air units. Of course, all of the original Tuned blueprints make an appearance, including the cage-like TPU uppers  – originally intended to resemble Florida palm trees swaying in the wind.

Rest assured, you’ll be screaming if you miss this one. Look for the Nike Tuned ‘Icon Flip’ to barrel onto Foot Locker shelves from today.
