Nike Tuned Turn Up the Volume with the 'Foil Pack'
The legendary and continue to flex as posterboys for the Air Max family, and the latest ‘Foil Pack’ is turning up the volume yet again. With iridescent deep ocean blues and inky greys adding a nice sheen to the silhouettes, this trio is certainly not for the faint-hearted.
Both of the Tuned pairs here follow a similar design structure, where foil-like printed uppers provide the base layer, and translucent TPU cages ooze upwards to the laces. Gradient ‘whale tail’ midfoot shanks breach the model with a subtle gradient, while the iconic seven-bubble Air Max unit elevates it further.
Then there's the Air Max Plus 3 – which brings an extra level of excitement to this 'Foil Pack' party, with the crumpled print making its way up to the synthetic uppers. As the third rendition of the Tuned Air, the AM Plus 3 extends the iconic tech of its predecessors, and in this case also updates the style by fusing the TPU uppers to the leather. A performance runner that bolted straight to the future – it'll always be a favourite among contemporary TN-heads.
