Cop Hidden Gems in Nike’s Summer Sale

Nike Summer saleNike Summer sale

Summer is peeking its head around the corner, with less than one month to go before three months of warmth north of the equator. Nike is setting us up right with their Summer sale, which features a slew of models ready to be rinsed on rooftop bars and running trails. From high-heat Jordans to the latest Swoosh running tech, there’s plenty of gems hiding in plain sight.

Jumpman Classics

The Air Jordan 4 ‘Military Blue’ finally made a comeback this year, and while the men’s pairs sold with the quickness, there’s still sizing available for children, so if you missed out, you can live vicariously through your dripped-out kids. Another classic in the sale is the Air Jordan 2 Low ‘Origins’, which might not be an OG colourway, but it does pay tribute to the 30-year legacy of the AJ2 via Italian colourblocking. The Air Jordan 1 Retro High SP is also up for grabs, with premium suede coming in a smooth chocolate, creamy beige, and burnt orange. If you don’t want to stress about premium suede getting ruined, the Air Jordan 1 Element comes equipped with GORE-TEX for off-roading. The Jordan Stadium 90 is also available in three colorways, and it is an extremely underrated model – it blends the best elements of the AJ1 and AJ5 to create a sleek but textured design.

Staples, Basics, and Icons

Arguably one of the most common beaters of all time, the Nike Air Force 1 ‘07 is up for grabs in the classic triple white. Another sneakersphere basic also makes an appearance, the Panda Dunk, but this one does come with a Twist just to keep things interesting. The Dunk also comes in a softer iteration, with a mixture of pastel blue, hemp, coconut milk and beige gracing the classic design. On the complete other side of the spectrum comes the murdered-out Air Max 97, along with the tough Air Max Plus in the 25th anniversary edition. The latter does have limited sizing though, so this is the time for the small-footed TN lovers to shine.

Run Club Steeze

Running has literally never been more popular, so if you’re one of the many hitting the trails and roads, there’s plenty of Nike tech to put a spring in your step. The InfinityRN 4 comes in a smoky mauve iteration, with ReactX foam and a water-resistant upper making for a good daily runner. Also using React foam is the Pegasus Trail 4, albeit with added traction on the outsole for rocky terrain. Speaking of outsoles, the Pegasus 40 uses the iconic waffle sole for grip, whereas the Zoom Air and React foam provide that springy energy return. The Zoom Fly 5 takes on the biggest midsole of all, with toe to heel ZoomX foam and a carbon fibre plate ready to take your performance to the next level.

Make sure to have a look at Nike's Summer sale for yourself. On top of the already discounted prices, members get an extra 25% off selected products with the code SUMMER25! The sale ends on May 30 at 9pm PT, so get in quick to avoid missing out.
